The Portuguese Direct Selling Institute (IPVD) announces the addition of Yves Rocher, France’s No. 1 beauty brand*, as its newest member. With a solid track record and a commitment to ethics, innovation, and sustainability, the company will help strengthen the direct selling sector in Portugal as a member of the Institute.
The renowned French cosmetics brand thus joins the ranks of IPVD members, which include leading companies in the sector such as Amway, Herbalife, Mary Kay, LR Health & Beauty, and Oriflame. Together, they will consolidate synergies that will enable them to fulfill the fundamental purpose of defending the sector’s interests, its reputation, and best practices in the market, while also promoting training and innovation within the sector.
Yves Rocher’s market size and relevance are distinctive factors. The integration into IPVD of a brand that has over 20 million consumers worldwide, is present in more than 90 markets, where it distributes over 250 million products per year—including 2,300 physical points of sale, as well as digital channels and direct sales—will help reinforce the modernity, credibility, and visibility of direct selling in Portugal.
Sandra Silva, President of the IPVD, notes: “Welcoming Yves Rocher to the IPVD means welcoming a brand with scale, reputation, and purpose, one that reinforces the importance of direct selling in Portugal and helps us build a sector that is more modern, more credible, and better prepared for the future.”
Rita Reis, General Manager of Yves Rocher, adds: “We are excited to join the Portuguese Institute of Direct Selling, a vital entity for the sustainable development of our sector in Portugal. This membership underscores our position and our desire to actively collaborate in shaping a more dynamic future for the direct selling market.”
